TSD - Twenty-Three

     "How far is Tronheim from here?" Selena asked Rahim, with an armful of firewood.  She occasionally glanced over at Silver, who was randomly shooting fireballs in the other direction with his hands.  His easy use of magic made her feel slightly envious, for she wished to learn as well.  However, she knew that it wasn't too important at the moment.

Rahim searched through his bag and pulled out what appeared to be a map of Armageddon.  He set it on the ground and pointed where it said, The White Plains.

     "We're here," he said.  He slid his finger across the surface until he pointed at the word Tronheim written in bold letters.

TSD - Twenty-Two

Night turned into day. The sun took the place of the crescent moon and the stars disappeared from the sky. The sky was filled with the bright, vivacious morning colors of the sun. Some clouds sailed above, occasionally moving in front of the sun. Selena welcomed the early morning. The cold night was almost unbearable while flying.

Rahim, Selena, and Thor already fled from the Grand Exchange and were greeted by the White Plains. Silver, however, was nowhere to be seen. She seemed worried that he was left behind, but shook it off, for he wished to walk himself.

TSD - Twenty-One

It was well in to the middle of the night. Selena felt tired and exhausted, but her excitement soon made her forget about how desperately she originally wanted to sleep. Selena went through her dresser drawers.

She took some of her clothes that were neatly folded and put it in a small chest that sat on her bed. The library book about dragons that sat on top of her vanity caught her eye. Selena shrugged her shoulders and she, too, placed it on her bed. She figured she wasn't coming back to the Grand Exchange to return

TSD - Twenty

For the next two days, Selena remained in her bed and just slept. When she finally did wake up from her slumber, she felt incredibly well, except that she still felt mentally exhausted. Selena saw the new, leather saddle that apparently Silver bought from the day before sitting on her dresser drawer.

"He's trying to impress me," she whispered, but at the same time, she didn't want to stop him. She tied the laces to her boots and grabbed the saddle, hoping to give it a try.

When she walked outside, Silver stood outside with Thor and Rahim.

"Where did you get all of your money?" Rahim inquired.

TSD - Nineteen

     Selena limped through the front doors of the Black Pub with pieces of her torn nightgown serving as a tourniquet for her wounds.  She held herself up by grabbing the edge of the bar table right in front.  Selena perked up her head when she heard someone walking down the stairs.  Her vision became blurry as she heard someone scream in horror and fright.  Before she fell unconscious to the floor, she saw a blur of white.

     "Who are you?"

     "Me?  No one you should concern yourself with!  Please move!

TSD - Eighteen

     Selena led Thor to the vacant slot behind the Black Pub to keep him hidden.  Behind the building were parts of the Black Bog that reached towards parts of the Grand Exchange, so Thor was able to keep himself concealed in the swampy forest.  With the small animals that lived in the trees, Thor was able to hunt for himself, which was a relief for Selena since it wouldn't take a toll on their limited amount of money.

     "Stay here," she whispered.  "I don't know who those men were, but they know that we're here.  We need to be more careful."

     Thor nodded.  "I understand.  I shall wait here for you.  First, I want to have that rabb

_{Whew, I'm glad that I finally finished painting this in Photoshop... I love how it turned out! OMG, I have to do my happy dance! X3

This took me about... 2 days' time to paint in Adobe Photoshop CS2. I did not use a wacom or anything; just a mouse to paint the details and highlights.}
