"You're not alone, together we stand. I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand. When it gets cold and it feels like the end, there's no place to go you know I won't give in, no I won't give in..."
As a child growing up, I was terrible in school. However, after I moved in with my grandparents after my parents gave me and my siblings away, I started getting better. I wanted to prove to myself that I can do it, that I can succeed. I did the best that I could. I went from being an F student to being all straight A's, taking honor's courses and even college courses while still in high school that consisted of classes such as Calculus and Physics. At first I wanted to make my family proud, to make my grandfather proud of me. However, I realized that I should have been aiming towards making myself proud. I'm still learning how to be proud of my art and writing.
I see new artists all the time advancing and getting better with their art techniques, especially a good friend of mine, . I've known her for over 4 years now and I've watched her art improve and grow. To me, she has that "I can do this if I try" attitude. It's when I see others who are like, "I can't."
"Keep holding on 'cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through. Just stay strong 'cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you. There's nothing you could say, nothing you could do, there's no other way when it comes to the truth so keep holding on 'cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through..."
I have so many people come to me and say things like, "Rose you're so amazing!", "You're so friendly and I feel honoured that an artist like you will talk to me," and so on and so forth. I am very flattered that many of you guys think so highly of me, but then there were some people who will say things like, "I can never draw or paint as good as you." I don't believe that. No matter what your skill in art is, or even anything that you like to do, it's never a good idea to have the "I can't" perspective on trying to find ways to improve.
You can't ever give up, no matter what. If you enjoy what you do, whether it be art or playing music, or singing or dancing or anything like that, if that's truly your passion, go for it! Keep holding on, find new ways to get better if you're truly passionate about something. Explore new ways and techniques to get better with what you do! Be proud of yourself. Love what you do, know and understand how special you guys truly are. If anything, Rose at least thinks you guys are special
Keep holding on.
(Lyrics by Avril Lavigne, my favourite musician who I loved listening to while growing up)
Any Issues?
To whom this may concern,
I'm currently working on re-packaging my books to submit to a literary agent that will represent my work and help me sign a contract with a well-known publisher. I've been a bit apprehensive since my dealings with Whiskey Creek Press and Start Publishing, but I believe that I will be much more successful with a more renowned publisher.
My reason: I was looking more into how I can market my books more, and doing it just strictly through Amazon isn't going to cut it. Even though technology and social media are great advertising platforms, it's super difficult for a self-published author to make it on their own. I've
Read the New Epic Fantasy (with dragons, duh!)

Stolen Art - Beware of Quilt Site
This information was shared with me courtesy of !Talentha (https://www.deviantart.com/talentha). I had the displeasure of being one of the artists that this quilt making website stole from. Luckily, they were civil with me when I emailed them and they removed my art from their page. However, this site still continues to pose a threat to other artists, both on and outside of deviantART.
If you were affected as well, then please contact them through this email:

Stolen Art
UPDATE: THEY JUST REMOVED MY ART SECONDS AGO! OMG, I'M SO HAPPY! I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE OTHER ARTISTS, BUT I WILL KEEP THIS LIST UP UNTIL THAT SITE REMOVES ALL OF THE STOLEN ARTWORK.
I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. I LEARNED THAT CONTACTING THEM THROUGH THEIR MAIN WEBSITE IS USELESS. BUT...
I DID FIND THEIR MAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL (IT WAS DIFFICULT TO FIND, I THINK THEY WERE TRYING TO HIDE IT):
support@blockofgear.com
I JUST SENT THEM AN EMAIL A FEW MINUTES AGO AND I DID RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THEY GOT IT, BUT NOW IT'S JUST WAITING FOR THEM TO RESPOND BACK WITH THE PROPER RESOLUTION. IF ANYONE ELSE WISHES TO SEND

an artists harshest critique will often come from themselves. -3- it's not very fun. but sometimes it gives me something to laugh about. :3
