I know that I've done a rage rant in the past on religion before but... the Christian community keeps pissing me off!
This is a forewarning: this journal entry is just a rant. This is for me to express how I feel and to get what's bothering me off my chest and out into the opening. You don't have to read this, and I don't want anyone to turn this into any sort of argument because this is to express how I personally feel on what's bothering me. If you want to turn this into a political debate, DON'T DO IT HERE! I don't want any opinions here. This is a personal rant (I cannot stress this enough).
The "Good" ChristianI am only bringing this up because I have noticed this fucking bullshit in the real world. I want to first start off by saying that I am a Christian and I am a follower of Christ (this is my personal opinions and beliefs. If you believe in another religion, I shall respect that and I will not make you see my views if you disagree with them). However, I'll see some of these "good" Christians that will go around and tell other people who don't follow God the "right" way that they're going to hell. WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE?????????? DOESN'T GOD SPECIFICALLY SAY IN THE BIBLE TO NOT FUCKING JUDGE OTHERS OR HE WILL YOU JUDGE YOU MORE HARSHLY?????
I AM SICK OF SEEING THESE PEOPLE PUSHING THEIR CHRISTIAN BELIEFS ONTO OTHER PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE NOT WILLING TO CONVERT!!!!!!!!! GOD STATES TO PREACH HIS WORD, NOT TO FUCKING FORCE IT DOWN OTHER PEOPLE'S THROATS! HE WANTS PEOPLE TO COME TO HIM WILLINGLY!
IT ALSO FUCKING PISSES ME OFF OF WHAT SOME OF THESE HARDCORE CHRISTIANS THINK OF THE LESBIAN/GAY COMMUNITY, STATING THAT THEY WILL ROT IN HELL FOR THEIR SIN ALL BECAUSE IN THE BIBLE IT TALKS ABOUT HOW A MAN SHALL NOT LAY WITH ANOTHER MAN!
YOU KNOW THE FUCK WHAT ELSE THE BIBLE SAYS YOU WILL GO TO HELL FOR? DO YOU HAVE EAR PIERCINGS? YES? THEN YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING HELL! DO YOU HAVE TATTOOS? YOU'RE GOING TO HELL TOO! THE BIBLE HAS BEEN ALTERED THROUGHOUT HISTORY AND REMEMBER, THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN BY MAN AND HAS OVER 2,000 YEARS OF ALTERATIONS TO THE FUCKING TEXT BASED OFF WHAT WAS CULTURALLY ACCEPTED!
People... seriously. Even if loving someone of the same gender is a crime, then so is everything else that we do. We're all sinners in my opinion, there's no mistake in that. However, God is supposed to be the forgiver of ALL of our sins and that he doesn't see any sin as too little or too great and that to Him, sin is sin. He also states that we should love our neighbors and respect all people since we are all children of God (again, my personal beliefs. If you believe in something else, I respect that; this is just my personal rant so no arguments or political debates please). What's truly wrong with loving someone, even if they're the same gender? That's just a personal preference. God wants us to be happy, He wants to see his children happy. I don't ever remember seeing in the Bible that "you will go to Hell if you are a lesbian or a homosexual."
Also remember of the time period that the Bible was written. and oh yeah, that's right... THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN BY MEN, NOT BY GOD!!!!!!!!!! Yes the Bible has some really good moral standards to live by, like don't murder, be a good person. That's pretty much what the Bible is if you look at it. Just a book of guidelines on how to live your life and just telling you to be a good person and to help each other out instead of bringing other people down. However, the Bible was still written by men and that there's a lot of contradictions in the scriptures. Has anyone considered that the Bible was written perhaps based off the author's preference? Think about the time it was written: population needed to increase over the earth, it was normally wrong to consider a guy being with a guy or a girl being with a girl at the time.
Why do you have to take it upon yourself to bitch people out just because of their sexual preference??? What has the lesbian/gay community done to you??? If they're happy together, LEAVE THEM ALONE! Love isn't supposed to be restricted by sex, race, community background, age, etc. Love is patient, it is kind, it doesn't boast, it doesn't envy. Doesn't it say that somewhere in the Bible? I THINK SO! 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
OH but those who disagree: "NO that's a sin, it's unholy, God doesn't like that." Well then... ARE YOU GOD?????? I DON'T THINK SO! SHUT UP ABOUT THAT SHIT, IT'S GOD'S JUDGEMENT, NOT YOURS! NO ONE EVER SEEMS TO REMEMBER THAT ONE VERSE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO LOVE TO QUOTE THE BIBLE, DO YOU REMEMBER THAT FUCKING QUOTE WHERE GOD SAYS FOR YOU TO NOT JUDGE OR HE WILL JUDGE YOU MORE HARSHLY??????????? Every time you say someone is going to Hell based off your own judgement, Remember that Jesus will be sitting at God's right hand, judging you to the Father right then and there about you too. Just remember that the next time that you're face to face with the powerful Almighty.
